May 6-10, 2019 is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please take the time to say "THANK YOU" to a teacher--we have a phenomenal staff in the Mahomet-Seymour Schools who are dedicated to serving our kids and families each and every day. We appreciate and are grateful for all that our teachers do!!
We will be naming our weight room at our HS after Coach Jim Risley this Friday, May 10 at 5:00 pm. The ceremony will take place in the field house and is open to all. Please help us celebrate and offer thanks for the service and the person after whom we will name this facility.

Bulldog Dialog has been changed to Monday, 5/6/19 from 7-8 p.m. in the BOE Meeting Room at MPE. This meeting is open to all--parents, community members, staff--and is an opportunity to hear updates about the school district as well as ask questions. Hope to see you there!
Mahomet Seymour Schools will be dismissing per our regular procedures at the regular time this afternoon. Based upon information gathered this afternoon, we believe this to be the best course of action. Kids Club and BLAST are in session. There will be increased police presence at LT and the JH. Everyone’s cooperation and patience is appreciated this afternoon
At approximately 12:55 p.m. both Lincoln Trail Elementary and Mahomet-Seymour Jr High were put on soft lockdown due to a threat made related to a domestic situation. The Mahomet PD is investigating the situation, and is present at our buildings. We will keep parents updated as more info becomes available.
