On 7-14-19, Cornbelt Fire Dept. along with law enforcement will be conducting training exercises at Mahomet-Seymour HS from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be multiple vehicles from the fire department parked at the HS & the building will not be accessible during these hours.

Haven't gotten your property tax bill yet? Here is the impact of that delay----The Mahomet-Seymour Board of Education will hold a special mtg. Monday 6/3/19 @ 7:45 a.m. for the purpose of passing a parameters resolution--which will allow us to issue tax anticipation warrants (TAW's). This allows us to borrow money against future property tax revenue so we can pay our bills. This action is being taken due to the fact that tax bills from Champaign County have not yet been sent out. Should've received approximately $4 million in May in tax revenue.

Mahomet-Seymour High School is pleased to announce that we will recognize our individual medalists and the 2019 IHSA Class 2A Boys Track 3rd Place Team tomorrow evening (Thursday May 30) at 5:30 pm prior to spring sport awards night. The track team recognition will take place in the Auditorium.

Bulldog Trails taking shape..thank you MSHS student Natalie Mitchell for planning and carrying out this amazing project. Thank you M-S Ag/FFA, Farm Credit IL, Justin Lamb/Sunset Landscaping, Interact Club, Mahomet Rotary Club and a host of other volunteers and contributors, including our Grounds Crew. Bulldog Trails provides an outdoor nature area for our youngest students at Middletown Prairie Elementary to learn and grow.
