
At approximately 12:55 p.m. both Lincoln Trail Elementary and Mahomet-Seymour Jr High were put on soft lockdown due to a threat made related to a domestic situation. The Mahomet PD is investigating the situation, and is present at our buildings. We will keep parents updated as more info becomes available.

At our April 15, 2019 Board of Education Meeting we honored Nezar Kassem, Lance Raver and Jenny Park for their years of service on our Board of Education. Thank you for your time, dedication and commitment to our students, families and community!




The proposed textbooks for the 2019-2020 school year are now on display at the Mahomet Public Library.

The Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC) is looking for individuals who love to work with kids to assist during summer break and/or spring break.
Counselors are responsible for a group of 15 to 20 youth on a daily basis. They must ensure safety, manage behavior, act as a role model and mentor, and model constructive participation in all daily activities. They will work closely with the Programming Director and Executive Director to implement programming and to ensure the safety of all youth. Counselors, with the help youth where appropriate are also expected to assist in cleaning up during the day and at the end of each day to ensure facilities are kept neat and tidy for continued use. Counselors should be at least 17 years of age.
All Counselors must participate in 1.5 days of training before the Clubhouse opens for summer. Mahomet Area Youth Club will be open for summer from June 3rd through August 9th from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Counselors are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
