Cindy Krumwiede grew up in Central Illinois and graduated from Eastern IL University. She feels blessed to be starting her 27th year of teaching in Mahomet. Cindy's career began at “Old Middletown” as a Pre-K Special Educator and then a birth to 3 Interventionist before landing in kindergarten. This will be Mrs. Krumwiede's 18th year teaching kindergarten and she can’t imagine teaching any other grade or in any other school district.
Mrs. Krumwiede lives in Mahomet with her husband Rex. When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Krumwiede enjoys spending time with her family. She is a life long Cubs fan and enjoys going to baseball games, traveling, trying new restaurants, and chilling on a beach with a good book. She and Rex have a daughter, Erin, who is a senior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Accounting.
They also have a 1 year old rescue pup named Olive. Olive is very energetic and loves playing frisbee, running, chewing her toys, going to doggy daycare, car trips with her family, and long naps.
Mrs. Krumwiede can't wait to meet her new students!
