Tori Veldman, or “Miss V.,” is entering her second year as a speech-language pathologist in the Mahomet-Seymour School District. She services MPE, the high school, and the ATLAS program.
Miss V. received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University in December of 2017 and a Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August of 2020. Prior to grad school, she worked as a special education paraprofessional in the life skills program at Unity High School for a semester.
Miss V. is a big Chicago Cubs fan and loves being with her 7-month-old niece. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her younger brother play college baseball, and spending time by the pool in the summer. Miss V. is excited for the new school year and can’t wait to get back to her students and get to meet new ones as well!
