•Rachel has been married to her very best friend, David, for 17 years. David works at Carle Hospital as an inpatient social work supervisor.
•They have three children. Lily is 14 years young and is thrilled to be a freshman. She enjoys drawing, listening to music, and is super creative. Ethan is 11 years young and is really excited to be a sixth grader. He loves video games, comic books and jumping on the trampoline. Olivia is 7 and is ecstatic about being a second grader. She is full of life and absolutely loves to play with her siblings. They also have a sweet dog named Marley. Marley is a super fun, super big, black and white dog.
•This is Rachel's 16th year of teaching. She has taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. Before teaching in Mahomet, she taught at a private school in Champaign for two years.
•Rachel and David are involved in their church and super involved in whatever their kids are doing. They love to be outdoors and active!
• Rachel says, "I LOVE teaching. It allows me to impact and nurture students… and be at home with my own kids in the summer."
