We have 5 custodians at Middletown Prairie. They have worked together all summer to get the school clean and ready for school to begin in 2 weeks. They move furniture, fix faucets, wax floors, take out garbage, clean up vomit, clean restrooms, and so much more. Their favorite time of year is Christmas... they love the glitter!
The day time custodians are David Harrison and Cindy Hites. The evening custodians are Kerry Burnett, Chuck Zindars, and Trent Wagers.
Cindy Hites has been working for the Mahomet-Seymour School District since 1990. She used to be a cook, but she became a full time custodian in 1998. Cindy is married and has 3 grown children (2 boys and 1 girl).
David Harrison has been working for the district for 11 years. He is married and has 4 children (1 girl and 3 boys).
Chuck Zindars is not only a custodian for the school district, but he also drives a school bus. He has been working for M-S schools for 13 years. He is married and has 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy).
Trent Wagers has been working in the school district for 19 years. He spent many years at the junior high, but we have been fortunate to have him at MPE for almost 1 year now. Trent has 1 son who attends Mahomet-Seymour High School.
Kerry Burnett is the newest MPE custodian. He joined our crew last school year. Kerry has 2 daughters.
