I am a fifth grade teacher at LT. I have been a teacher for 14 years, 2 years in Naperville and 12 at Lincoln Trail. I received my undergrad from Illinois State University and Master’s Degree from Rockford College.
I enjoy spending time with my three children and husband, Ben. I also enjoy coaching and playing volleyball! Both my husband and I grew up in Mahomet and we are thrilled to raise our own children here! My kids and I are soaking up our summer together. I always look forward to a new school year!

This week's staff spotlight shines on Polly McCoy. I received my Bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and my Masters degree from the University of Illinois. This will be my 5th year teaching in Mahomet, but it will begin the 17th year of my teaching career in total. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joe, and two children, Jake and Andie. My personal hobbies include reading and being creative - painting, drawing, typography, and DIY projects.

This week's featured staff member is Mrs. Dana Martin!
Dana Martin has been a 5th grade teacher at Lincoln Trail for 12 years. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Illinois and currently enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and three children, Will, Julia, and Finn. The best part of her job is making connections with her students and helping each one to feel success, academically, socially, and emotionally. She’s loving the time off this summer to read, relax, and rejuvenate, but can’t wait for another awesome year at LT!
