We just had a joyous and fun celebration of Mrs. Carol Shallenberger's service to our schools as she retires. Pictured on the left, she and our Kindergarteners enjoyed cookies and milk together, after reading "If You Give A Principal A Cookie..." We offer our deepest thanks and appreciation to the Mahomet Seymour Education Foundation for the generous support shown to the school district this year. Most recently, we'd like to say thank you to the MSEF for the donation of $100,000 toward our Chromebooks initiative, and $32,000 over the next two years (total of $64,000) in support of the new Middletown Prairie Elementary playground. This amazing partnership couldn't happen without the long hours and very hard work on behalf of many volunteers, as well as the generosity in giving that occurs in our community. THANK YOU MAHOMET SEYMOUR EDUCATION FOUNDATION!

Are you the parent of a current 5th-11th grader? Please plan to attend a Chromebook meeting on either April 30 or May 1 @ 6:00 pm in MSHS Auditorium. These meetings are to learn more about our personal devices initiative that starts in the fall when all 6th -12th graders will get a Chromebook.
